Raphaël Moreau is one of the most promising French violinists of his generation. After graduating from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP), he studied with Augustin Dumay and later with Renaud Capuçon, under whose guidance he continues to refine his artistry while also performing alongside him.

Renowned for his delicate technique and profound expressiveness, he has won numerous awards, including First Prize at the Postacchini International Competition and the prestigious Banque Populaire Foundation Award in France. Born into a musical family, he also performs internationally as part of a highly acclaimed chamber ensemble with his siblings, including his brother Edgar Moreau, the celebrated cellist.

  • Soloist with the Orchestre National de France under Emmanuel Krivine

  • Guest appearances at the Verbier Festival and the Aix-en-Provence Easter Festival

  • European tour with the West–Eastern Divan Orchestra conducted by Daniel Barenboim

  • Performances at major venues such as the Philharmonie de Paris, Victoria Hall in Geneva, and Konzerthaus Berlin

  • Collaborations with distinguished artists including Martha Argerich, Renaud Capuçon, and Nicholas Angelich
